Remembering Arts Champion and Environmental Trailblazer, Robert Redford

Robert Redford passed away on the 17th day of September 2025 in his beloved home of Sundance, Utah. Redford was everyone’s favorite actor’s favorite actor.  He was a fixture in the world of Hollywood and an Academy Award winning actor and director whose work spanned many decades.  He has starred in notable films such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), The Great Gatsby (1974), The Sting (1974), Out of Africa (1985),  Indecent Proposal (1993), Avengers: Endgame (2019) as well as Broadway shows such as  Sunday in New York (1963) and  Barefoot in the Park (1963). While driving through Provo Canyon on a motorbike, Redford took in the scenery and instantly knew that he wanted to make a home there.  Always an avid lover of nature, Robert was mesmerized by the landscapes of Utah and sought to purchase more than 5,000 acres of land in Sundance while keeping the goals of preservation and conservation in mind. Green Festival Expo 2016 Review: The FayFarm

The FayFarm had a three for 20 deal at their vendor area.  Hemp is a featured ingredient in The Fayfarm’s products.  I purchased the Healing Hemp Salve which contains Hemp, herb infused olive, castor and avocado oils, beeswax, CBD oil & essential oils. 





This salve is good for moisturizing rough patches or spots.  The product is supposed to be effective at healing those suffering from eczema, psoriasis, ichthyosis, burns and bug bites.  The CBD oil present acts as a pain reliever and anti-inflammatory agent.


Tasty CBD Chews come in a pack of four and are infused with 100mg of caffeine and 5mg of CBD oil, vitamin B12, Vitamin B6.


These chews are great whenever you need that kick or jolt to get your day going! not a huge fan of caffeine being in the product.  The flavor sour apple is featured here.


The last item we received was a soft Frisbee made from hemp! It held up fairly well outside during a game of Frisbee.  It would also make a nice toy for a pet!

PETA Protester Confronts Pharrell Williams During Film Premiere

A protester from the organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), disrupted a speech being given by Pharrell Williams at a Biopic Premiere in Toronto.  She rushed the stage with a white sign in her hand that read:  Pharrell: Stop Supporting Killing Animals for Fashion.  Pharrell was in Toronto to support his LEGO biopic entitled, Piece by Piece.   The protester directed a number of statements towards Pharrell and the audience concerning his role as men's creative director at Louis Vuitton.   "Your Louis Vuitton collection … Pharrell’s collection is made from their blood,” the protester shouted to the audience. “Pharrell stop torturing animals! Ostriches are being hung upside down, electrocuted with their necks slit.”   PETA is petitioning Louis Vuitton to stop abusing animals and using their bodily materials for the purpose of fashion creation.  During the protest, Pharrell made a pause during his speech and outright...

Nikocado Avocado Woke up 250lbs Lighter! Vegan Again?!

The Mukbang king, Nikocado Avocado, broke his 7 month silence after uploading a video to his channel last night.   He first appeared in the video wearing a big Panda head mask.  Beyond that gigantic panda mask, there was something noticeably different about Nick!   There was a super thin body under the mask!  Could this be a clone of Nikocado?  Is this really the same person who would down several cheeseburgers, nuggets, stuffed tacos and huge plates of noodles in one sitting?  Nikocado is the self proclaimed mukbang king of the internet and with that title came loads of weight gain.
