Meal Kits are Taking Over the USofA Who knew that prep (meal kit) and no prep (heat and eat) meal delivery services would eventually become the future?  When it comes to cooking, either you know how to do it or you do not.  If you fall into the latter category, you probably get by ordering out everyday or if you have the means, hire a private chef.  What I love most about meal delivery services is that it doesn't matter what category you fall into! If you don't know how to cook, you can most certainly learn through prep (meal kit) based meal delivery services.  On the other hand, if you are an experienced cook, prep and no prep delivery plans allow for the food experimenter to achieve the bliss of food diversity.  Eating the same foods over and over can get a bit boring!  If you're someone who loves to try new foods and recipes ALL the time, meal delivery services may be the route that you need to take.  Thanks to food delivery services such as Hello F...

Summer Walker: “I believe in Herbal Healing.”

After an article was posted on the Green News Guide regarding Summer Walker feeding her baby hemp and honey, she took to her Instagram live to speak about different topics including why she was feeding her baby a hemp, honey and mushroom mixture in the recent past.  Summer owes no one an explanation as to why she fed her baby the whole foods mixture but the reason she did so was very clear.  She mentioned that her baby had a situation or what possibly was a minor medical condition.   Obviously, she independently discovered foods and herbs that would help her baby and used them to aid in healing.  In her live, she stated that the herbal mixture she gave to the baby “worked” and cleared up the issue that she was having at the time.  She said it was a short-term natural remedy that she fed to her baby.  In the previous article, I stated that people were jumping to conclusions and making assumptions that were not based on facts.  I also stated that pe...

Is Summer Walker Wrong for Feeding Her Baby Vegan Milk made with Hemp and Honey?

Summer Walker recently came under fire when she posted a photo of her and her baby as well as a photo of products that she was feeding her baby.  The photo showed a picture of hemp seeds, raw honey, and mushroom powder.  It’s clear she was prepping the drink for her baby as there was a bottle next to the items.  Summer Walker innocently shared a photo of plant based nutrients seemingly wanting to show others that she is a health conscious mother who cares about the foods that she’s feeding her baby and I’m sure she was expecting a positive response from others but the opposite came running. A whole host of ignorant comments were suddenly then spewed towards Summer after she made her posts. One person criticized her in a tweet saying, “I just know Summer Walker not really feeding her baby seeds honey & shrooms. Gorgeously Green "Lost One" Video by Jazmine Sullivan

I had not known when I saw the video's premiere that Jazmine had been making some major lifestyle changes! the video was so attractive for the simple fact that she was surrounded by all that gorgeous greenery. Whose house is thaaaat!? I want to go! It has such a chill vibe. I loved the background the minute I saw it. It was definitely the perfect setting for this new song--Amazing harmonies, good singing, melodic tunes and plants make for an oh so good time! So let's enjoy the greenery here in this video and kudos to J Sully for embarking on a new healthier lifestyle and not looking back! Forget what the haters and naysayers may say... Why Beyonce's 'Black Parade' is the New Black Anthem

I don’t think that the people were ready for the new black anthem that Mrs. Beyonce Knowles-Carter dropped on Juneteenth 2020. This is the most Africa-centered, black empowerment song that I’ve heard from a Black American since “Lift every Voice & Sing!” Actually, come to think of it, Lift Every Voice and Sing was not such a stark reminder of the actual history of black people as Black Parade is. The song, written by James Weldon Johnson was a powerful ode to freedom. When Weldon Johnson wrote Lift Every Voice and Sing in the year 1900, slavery in America had ended only a mere 35 years earlier. It was a song of black unity and a subdued poetic showmanship of pride that black people were just mustering up the courage to reclaim. Black Parade is a brazen and oh so bold, soul stirring, hip turning, beat-booming, ancestor appreciating, motherland dripping song from the ever so talented Beyonce!
