Coffee Tea?! My Coffee Secret

Image
NCDT (National Coffee Data Trends) have reported that as much as 67% of Americans drink coffee on a daily basis.  That amount increases to 75% when determining the amount of adults who drink coffee on a weekly basis.  One lesser know fact is that the global coffee market is expected to reach 182 billion by the year 2030.  What is it about that little dark bean, available in so many varieties, that cause people to be unable to go about their daily lives without it?  It must be the flavor as some people swear by coffees made in various countries.  If it's not Columbian or Jamaican coffee, some will not even touch the mug.  Then there are the coffee chain fan clubs who must have their daily Starbucks or Tim Horton's signature espresso in the morning.  Let's be real, the taste of coffee isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when dark.  Quite possibly, it may be the alertness that coffee provides after consumption which have some people hooked.   The alertness and

What's in Green Lifestyle Organization's 2021 End of Year Blessing Bag?

One of the main initiatives of The Green Lifestyle Organization is the Blessing Bag, a small-medium sized bag which is given out to homeless citizens and shelters in the New York Tri State area.   Sooner than later, we'll soon be launching Blessing Bags across the United States to areas that need them the most.  Too often, homeless citizens are almost always given low quality items or ingredients.  Of course, those experiencing situations where they are in lack are grateful to have whatever they can get.  The mission of GLO's Blessing Bag initiative is to provide food and personal care items that are certified organic, non GMO and free of unsafe and toxic ingredients.   Here are some of the items that will be featured in GLO's 2021 end of year Blessing Bag: 1.) Made Good Dried Crispy Squares  2.) Nature's Path Flavored Cinnamon Flax Oatmeal 3.) Yoogi Tea 4.) Seapoint Farms Dry Roasted Edamame 5.) Twinings Tea 6.) Uncle Bud's Hemp Hand Sanitizer 7.) Nourish Organic Review

Image
I discovered Nourish Organic last year while on the never ending hunt to find THE best natural deodorant.  The very first thing that I noticed about Nourish Organic was the official USDA organic symbol that was right smack on the front of every single product in their lines.  This is the only USDA organic skincare company that I know of at present.  Of course there are other beauty and skincare companies that may have one or two USDA certified organic products in their lines and collections.  However, every single product of Nourish Organic is USDA certified organic and that is absolutely wonderful and very essential.  There are too many skin and beauty companies claiming to have organic products without an official USDA symbol on the product.  I wholeheartedly support and recommend this company to all conscious consumers! Let's start by talking about the packaging of the Nourish Organic deodorants.  They are beautifully and colorfully designed on a white container and black cover.

WE WANT ORGANIC MILK STARBUCKS!!

Image
Many coffee drinkers are fans of Starbucks. From the caramel macchiatos to the vanilla lattes, the taste in a cup of Starbucks coffee really packs a punch! Though the taste may be good to some coffee fiends, one can’t help but wonder if Starbucks is using GMO free ingredients in their products. Truth be told, they have made the step to cease using milk from cows injected with the artificial growth hormone rBST in 2007! It’s wonderful that they have stopped using rBST milk in their products. However, they are still giving genetically modified feed to cows. This is definitely not a wise practice for a company like Starbucks to continue to do! GMO Inside is running a petition to get Starbucks to cease giving GM feed to cows. If you want completely organic milk and dairy products from Starbucks, sign the petition NOW!
