Fragrance and perfume is a delight of life.   It has the ability to invoke and stir emotions, memories and create special moments.   Fragrances can convey a mood and they can be an expression of identity and inner confidence.   Two years ago, Green News Guide introduced our Clean, Organic and Natural Perfume guide which contains a list of brands that make or manufacture perfumes that are free from carcinogenic substances such as phthalates and parabens.   If you are clearing out your beauty stash and venturing out to clean beauty, here are a few clean scent faves. Beyonce Hints at Love for Alkaline Water in "Thique" lyrics

Image
Beyonce dropped her seventh studio album a week ago and it's topping all of the global music charts.  She even broke another record! She is the first woman to have 20 top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist and 10 hits as a member of a group. During 2021, she broke the record for having won the most Grammy's of any artist (male or female).  That record has now been broken by George Solti but she still remains to be the female artist with the most Grammy's.  Surely, she'll break the record again in 2023 during the 65th Grammy Awards for her album "Renaissance;" a chart topping, beat bumping masterpiece for the ages. When Weldon Johnson wrote Lift Every Voice and Sing in the year 1900, slavery in America had ended only a mere 35 years earlier. It was a song of black unity and a subdued poetic showmanship of pride that black people were just mustering up the courage to reclaim. Black Parade is a brazen and oh so bold, soul stirring, hip turning, beat-booming, ancestor appreciating, motherland dripping song from the ever so talented Beyonce! Anyone who knows me, knows I go goo goo ga ga for Bey. This song right here is why sh...
