Coffee Tea?! My Coffee Secret

Image
NCDT (National Coffee Data Trends) have reported that as much as 67% of Americans drink coffee on a daily basis.  That amount increases to 75% when determining the amount of adults who drink coffee on a weekly basis.  One lesser know fact is that the global coffee market is expected to reach 182 billion by the year 2030.  What is it about that little dark bean, available in so many varieties, that cause people to be unable to go about their daily lives without it?  It must be the flavor as some people swear by coffees made in various countries.  If it's not Columbian or Jamaican coffee, some will not even touch the mug.  Then there are the coffee chain fan clubs who must have their daily Starbucks or Tim Horton's signature espresso in the morning.  Let's be real, the taste of coffee isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when dark.  Quite possibly, it may be the alertness that coffee provides after consumption which have some people hooked.   The alertness and

Beyonce Hints at Love for Alkaline Water in "Thique" lyrics

Beyonce dropped her seventh studio album a week ago and it's topping all of the global music charts.  She even broke another record! She is the first woman to have 20 top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist and 10 hits as a member of a group. During 2021, she broke the record for having won the most Grammy's of any artist (male or female).  That record has now been broken by George Solti but she still remains to be the female artist with the most Grammy's.  Surely, she'll break the record again in 2023 during the 65th Grammy Awards for her album "Renaissance;" a chart topping, beat bumping masterpiece for the ages. Beyonce's love for alkaline water was first revealed a couple of years ago when her tour rider listed the drink as a must have.  Also on the list were requirements of how the water needed to be drank: At near room temperature of 69 degrees over hand carved ice balls.  And the kicker--the water must drank through special $1000 titan

Why Beyonce's 'Black Parade' is the New Black Anthem

I don’t think that the people were ready for the new black anthem that Mrs. Beyonce Knowles-Carter dropped on Juneteenth 2020. This is the most Africa-centered, black empowerment song that I’ve heard from a Black American since “Lift every Voice & Sing!” Actually, come to think of it, Lift Every Voice and Sing was not such a stark reminder of the actual history of black people as Black Parade is. The song, written by James Weldon Johnson was a powerful ode to freedom. When Weldon Johnson wrote Lift Every Voice and Sing in the year 1900, slavery in America had ended only a mere 35 years earlier. It was a song of black unity and a subdued poetic showmanship of pride that black people were just mustering up the courage to reclaim. Black Parade is a brazen and oh so bold, soul stirring, hip turning, beat-booming, ancestor appreciating, motherland dripping song from the ever so talented Beyonce! Anyone who knows me, knows I go goo goo ga ga for Bey. This song right here is why sh
