Coffee Tea?! My Coffee Secret

NCDT (National Coffee Data Trends) have reported that as much as 67% of Americans drink coffee on a daily basis.  That amount increases to 75% when determining the amount of adults who drink coffee on a weekly basis.  One lesser know fact is that the global coffee market is expected to reach 182 billion by the year 2030.  What is it about that little dark bean, available in so many varieties, that cause people to be unable to go about their daily lives without it?  It must be the flavor as some people swear by coffees made in various countries.  If it's not Columbian or Jamaican coffee, some will not even touch the mug.  Then there are the coffee chain fan clubs who must have their daily Starbucks or Tim Horton's signature espresso in the morning.  Let's be real, the taste of coffee isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when dark.  Quite possibly, it may be the alertness that coffee provides after consumption which have some people hooked.   The alertness and

Who is Tesla Rival Lucid Motors?

The other day I came across a commercial for an unknown electric car company. I saw the bold white Lucid letters across the screen and wondered who they were. Most people are familiar with Tesla. This prompted me to look into it a bit further and I was surprised by what I learned. Lucid Motors, formerly known as startup Atieva, was founded by Bernard Tse and Sam Weng in 2007. Bernard once served as a VP and board member at Tesla for four years, after which he left to go on to establish Atieva, Inc. Atieva changed its name to Lucid Motors in 2016 and has recently introduced its first electric car called the Lucid Air. Love the name btw! Peter Rawlinson is the CTO and CEO of Lucid Motors but he was also a VP at Tesla and head engineer of the Model S. Lucid Motors is not yet public and is funded by the government of Saudi Arabia (PIF). Since we know that Peter designed Model S, lets try to understand how it compares to the 2021 Lucid Air. Lucid Air has a retail starting price of $69,900

Battle of the CEOs: Elon Musk Shades Bill Gates on Vaccines

Elon Musk and Bill Gates were verbal players in a game of major shade recently. Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft has been busy leading efforts to find a workable vaccine as Covid-19 continues to spread through the nation. Gates is a major proponent of vaccination, having said in August, “ If 30%-60% of Americans take the vaccine, exponential spread will stop. It will bring the pandemic to an end.” Mr. Gates has committed to funding an insurmountable sum to vaccine development as well as coronavirus vaccine research. Yesterday, Elon Musk was very vocal about his position on vaccination as it relates to the coronavirus. When asked if he would get a vaccine on a NYT opinion podcast, he issued a sharp, “NO!” He also implied that his children will not be receiving one either. The CEOs’ public spat began in July when Bill Gates expressed disapproval of Musk’s stance concerning the pandemic. “Elon’s positioning is to maintain a high level of outrageous comments,” said Gates. “He’s not much

It is similar in texture to the Model 3 with its falcon wing doors and design. The most important feature to note about Model Y is its larger interior space with the potential to be a seven seater. Model Y will be the perfect vehicle for the environmentally conscious parents with a small brood. Running on battery power, Tesla’s Model Y will go the distance of 239 miles. Luxury features in the Model Y include a panoramic glass roof similar to its predecessor. At design studio Musk gives us quite the picture stating, “It just feels like you can see the sky.” The Model Y begins at $39000 for base version and can inch upwards of $60000 after selecting additional features. The model Y’s release date will be in the fall of 2020. Now with over 1400 supercharging stations worldwide, Tesla cars are a very cost effective and green choic
