The Met Gala took place on May 6th at the Metropolitan Museum of Art here in New York.  Many believed that this year’s gala had a double theme.  “ Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion ” and “ The Garden of Time ” were the two themes that celebrities on the red carpet dressed for.  Vogue editor at large, Anna Wintour, actually issued an apology over the confusion regarding the themes.  The new exhibit that was being highlighted is called “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” and the dress code for the 2024 Met Gala was “The Garden of Time.”  Quite a few celebrities dressed for what they believed was a “Sleeping Beauty” theme. It appears though that the actual dress code was "The Garden of Time."  Some managed to incorporate both themes and this was pretty cool to see. Nicki Minaj has partnered with green sneaker brand, LØCI to produce a collection consisting of 11 different pairs of sneakers.  LØCI is a black owned sneaker brand who is committed to crafting products made of sustainable materials such as Bio leather made from food grade corn and natural cork insoles. Apple premiered their yearly Apple Event introducing the new Apple Series 9 Apple Watch and the iPhone 15 standard, plus and pro models.  During the event, a commercial was premiered featuring Octavia Spencer, Tim Cook (CEO of Apple), Lisa Jackson (VP of Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives.  This funny commercial saw Octavia present herself as “Mother Nature,” a stern yet comical corporate responsibility officer.  Before Octavia entered the scene, all the officers and workers at the meeting were shuffling around looking nervous and anxious while drinks shook on the table.   We even saw Tim Cook rehearsing the lines that he would repeat to Mother Nature when she entered.   After Mother Nature arrives, Tim Cook, asks her “how was the weather getting in?” Mother Nature then says, “the weather was however I wanted it to be!”   Mother nature reminds Mr. Cook of his promise in 2020—which is to bring Apple’s carbon footprint to zero by 2030. Just Stop Oil is back at it again and this time the shenanigans included British Royal family members, King Charles, Prince William, Princess Catherine and Camilla Consort.  Yesterday, two members from the organization marched into Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum and visited the royal family section.  As the two protesters made their way to the royal wax figures, they began removing their bags and outerwear.  The bold letters of the organization’s name swiftly appeared on their white tees as people quietly walked to and fro past other wax figures.  The activist duo consisted of a woman and man.  The woman grabbed a flat looking cake out of her bag and jammed it right into the face of the figure of King Charles.   Would Prince William be next?  No! Trisha Paytas revealed in a video that she thinks she has breast implant illness.   I’ve watched Trisha for a long time and I remember the slew of videos they did at the time detailing the implant surgeries.   Paytas has been very public over the last 10 years about her plastic surgery experiences and has received cosmetic surgeries such as liposuction, brazilian butt lift (BBL) and two breast augmentations including a slew of non surgery cosmetic enhancements.   Her Symptoms It’s been five years since her last breast augmentation and Trisha says that she’s now experiencing symptoms such as weakness and fatigue.   In her words, she claims to have “started feeling like I was poisoned.”    She also mentioned that it felt as if she couldn’t breathe at times.
