Coffee Tea?! My Coffee Secret

Image
NCDT (National Coffee Data Trends) have reported that as much as 67% of Americans drink coffee on a daily basis.  That amount increases to 75% when determining the amount of adults who drink coffee on a weekly basis.  One lesser know fact is that the global coffee market is expected to reach 182 billion by the year 2030.  What is it about that little dark bean, available in so many varieties, that cause people to be unable to go about their daily lives without it?  It must be the flavor as some people swear by coffees made in various countries.  If it's not Columbian or Jamaican coffee, some will not even touch the mug.  Then there are the coffee chain fan clubs who must have their daily Starbucks or Tim Horton's signature espresso in the morning.  Let's be real, the taste of coffee isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when dark.  Quite possibly, it may be the alertness that coffee provides after consumption which have some people hooked.   The alertness and

Battle of the CEOs: Elon Musk Shades Bill Gates on Vaccines

Image
Elon Musk and Bill Gates were verbal players in a game of major shade recently. Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft has been busy leading efforts to find a workable vaccine as Covid-19 continues to spread through the nation. Gates is a major proponent of vaccination, having said in August, “ If 30%-60% of Americans take the vaccine, exponential spread will stop. It will bring the pandemic to an end.” Mr. Gates has committed to funding an insurmountable sum to vaccine development as well as coronavirus vaccine research. Yesterday, Elon Musk was very vocal about his position on vaccination as it relates to the coronavirus. When asked if he would get a vaccine on a NYT opinion podcast, he issued a sharp, “NO!” He also implied that his children will not be receiving one either. The CEOs’ public spat began in July when Bill Gates expressed disapproval of Musk’s stance concerning the pandemic. “Elon’s positioning is to maintain a high level of outrageous comments,” said Gates. “He’s not much

Kourtney elaborated on the reason she started Poosh: “When I started Poosh, I really loved the most—the idea of sharing a lifestyle and of sharing information with people in a non judgmental, just really accessible way.” Kourtney also said that she would receive questions about the foods she was eating or about her lifestyle and from there, the idea for Poosh developed. As for this wellness festival, she mentioned that she wanted to dedicate a day to bringing a live wellness experience to people. Standout Sessions I thought all of the sessions were informative. It was a nice peek into the natural health and wellness lifestyle for those

Countess of Wessex and Family Express Concern over PPE litter and disposal The Countess of Wessex and her lovely family took part in a beach clean up for the Great British Beach Clean over the weekend, along with a few other volunteers from the Marine Conservation Society. Sophie proves again and again why she is such a beloved and treasured family member of the royal family. One environmental issue that the pandemic has caused to spiral out of control is the use of plastic in personal protective equipment (PPE). Single use items such as cups and utensils are now a preferable choice in households, facilities and businesses as people work together to help continue to curb the spread of the virus in daily life. Have all the efforts to lessen widespread use of plastics gone up in flames? At the beach clean up, Lady Louise, daughter of the countess expressed worries about the widespread use of single use plastic due to the coronavirus pandemic in her statement: “Everything has got
