Tempo meals is a weekly food delivery service that offers flavorful protein centered meals in the quantity of your choosing.  If you’ve been rocking with the Green News Guide then you might have read previous reviews about other food delivery services such as Cook Unity, Mosaic or Gobble.  Tempo was originally launched by Home Chef in October of 2023.  I found their meal selection process to be super easy and the website was very user friendly.  Customers can select the subscription of their choice based on the number of meals desired on a weekly basis. One can opt for a quantity of 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 or 16 meals per week at $11 per serving.   Ordering & Delivery process Tempo’s meals usually feature a protein (beef, chicken, fish, shrimp) that is usually paired with a vegetable medley.  There is also the choice to select from “premium” meal options that are about $3-$5 additional per serving.  One con that I noticed about Tempo is that there...

Kim Kardashian Links with Beyond Meat as their New Chief Taste Consultant

Has Kim K. fully given up eating meat?

Just before the pandemic, Kim announced that she would be beginning a plant-based journey due to her lifelong battle with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.  In 2020 she made a statement on twitter saying, “I eat mostly plant based. No meat anymore.” Kim Kardashian made a major announcement on her instagram page yesterday, stating that she is the new brand ambassador for Beyond Meat products.

“I’m so inspired by Beyond Meat’s mission and excited to share their delicious plant based products with all of you as their Chief Taste Consultant,” she stated.

Beyond meat declared that Kim will be highlighting their “delicious, nutritious and sustainable product portfolio with her signature recipes and engaging creative content.”  Kardashian is the next among other celebrity promoters of the brand which include Snoop Dog, Shay Mitchell and Kevin Hart.

Kim also has a bit of a history with Beyond Meat products. Early on in her journey she shared short videos of her gigantic walk-in refrigerator and freezer.  Side Note: Where on earth do they make those at?   A pile of Beyond Meat products were in plain view in her freezer during the snippet.

Kim makes it a goal to feed her children plant-based diets.  She has said that her children loves the dishes that she makes with Beyond Meat including Beyond Beef, Beyond Chicken Tenders and Beyond burger.

Kim realizes the impact that eating a meat free diet can have on the planet.

“I am really inspired by Beyond Meat’s mission and love that they are not only making plant-based eating delicious and accessible, but are doing so in a way that benefits both people and the planet. It’s empowering to know that the small changes I’m making for my family, like incorporating more Beyond Meat into our meals, can add up to make a big impact,” she stated.

Kim's announcement comes right after Kanye announced his partnership with McDonald's and a redesign of their packaging.  Hey McDonald's, we're still waiting on that McPlant! All hype. No action..ehh?

Welp—we love a conscious Kim!   She should be applauded for bringing awareness to the vegan and plant based lifestyle.  It’s probably a desire of most vegans and vegetarians to highlight the importance of plant based living to an audience like Kim’s.  We support Kim K’s plant based movement.
