How Can Elon Musk Save Tesla?

Image
Elon Musk shocked the world when he recently denounced President Trump and exposed him.  The big blowout between the special government employee and the President of the United States occurred last week.  During the blowout, Musk tweeted a series of rapid fire statements about Trump. The most jaw-dropping of them all was the tweet that said: “Without me, Trump would have lost the election.”  It’s clear that Elon believes that his resources and presence while on the campaign was the reason for his win.  Is Musk solely alluding to the money given to the Trump campaign or is he actually alluding to helping him win through other means?   This is a feud that no one saw coming. Green Sculptural Art by Daniel Popper

Daniel Popper is a South African artist who incorporates the physical surroundings into his sculpture creations. Popper’s latest installation was created during the pandemic and is called “Thrive.” The monumental sculpture is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the Society Las Olas building.

This permanent public installation incorporates natural elements such as concrete, fiber, glass and greenery. The 30 foot tall sculpture features a feminine figure carefully revealing an open interior. The viewer can physically walk through the fern covered interior with its tunnel style appearance.

Popper created “Thrive” to be an inspiration of hope and transformation; a year where many were forced to find ways of thriving in the midst of turmoil and loss. The installation is very awe inspiring and the interpretations one can receive are numerous. The plants represent new life and the concrete represents the hardness of life. The juxtaposition between the concrete and the greenery can be interpreted as follows:

Life and opportunities are still there to be unfolded though the turn of events may seem hard. as for The second message: “Don’t judge a book by its cover. Inside a cold hard exterior could lie a peaceful, tranquil, beautiful soul.

This sculpture can be considered to fall under the classification as “Green Art” for its use of natural earth elements. Gigantic in size and weighing over 14 tons, it allows the viewer to ponder, interact with and fully embrace their natural surroundings. When asked about the installation and how he thinks it will connect to people, Popper had this to say: “I hope they will continue to interact with it and enjoy it and that the message and feeling continues for many years to come.”
