Remembering Arts Champion and Environmental Trailblazer, Robert Redford

Robert Redford passed away on the 17th day of September 2025 in his beloved home of Sundance, Utah. Redford was everyone’s favorite actor’s favorite actor.  He was a fixture in the world of Hollywood and an Academy Award winning actor and director whose work spanned many decades.  He has starred in notable films such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), The Great Gatsby (1974), The Sting (1974), Out of Africa (1985),  Indecent Proposal (1993), Avengers: Endgame (2019) as well as Broadway shows such as  Sunday in New York (1963) and  Barefoot in the Park (1963). While driving through Provo Canyon on a motorbike, Redford took in the scenery and instantly knew that he wanted to make a home there.  Always an avid lover of nature, Robert was mesmerized by the landscapes of Utah and sought to purchase more than 5,000 acres of land in Sundance while keeping the goals of preservation and conservation in mind. CELEBRATING 5 YRS OF THE GREEN NEWS GUIDE

SNSolutions and Green News Guide originally began as a passion project. I had started a youtube channel focused on natural living and hair a few years prior and decided to form a website that offered information and news focused on the green lifestyle. At first, it was an extension of my former channel until I decided to stop making videos and focus solely on growing the Green News Guide audience through the original website. SNS Solutions is now solely focused on providing natural health and alternative medical services to seeking individuals.



It's been a real pleasure to serve as chief editor, writing content for the Green News Guide for the past five years any one who really knows me, knows that writing and bettering the planet has always been passions of mine.

I love intelligence but I appreciate creativity even more. I'm proud to be a creative force in various domains. The Green News Guide has always been an awesome outlet for me to hone and create. It's also been a wonderful outlet that has allowed me to express my solutions for making earth and the world a better place. It's been a hub that has launched me into other arenas and it will always be home. The Green News Guide has almost been like a guiding force for my writing. After I'd started the website, I had also written a few books some of which I have yet to publish. I'm so busy these days, but i will certainly get that publishing ball rolling again!
Thank you to all of you...our subscribers who found the website whether it was through our social media pages on facebook, the former google plus, pinterest or word of mouth. To the loyal folks who check in to read the Green News Guide..muchos gracias! I'm so happy to see how far it has come! Happy birthday Green News Guide! Aww my baby is 5 years old!!! I promise to stay consistent with the guide and look forward to continue bringing you exclusive and highly informative content that will help you live a cleaner, greener life!

PETA Protester Confronts Pharrell Williams During Film Premiere

A protester from the organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), disrupted a speech being given by Pharrell Williams at a Biopic Premiere in Toronto.  She rushed the stage with a white sign in her hand that read:  Pharrell: Stop Supporting Killing Animals for Fashion.  Pharrell was in Toronto to support his LEGO biopic entitled, Piece by Piece.   The protester directed a number of statements towards Pharrell and the audience concerning his role as men's creative director at Louis Vuitton.   "Your Louis Vuitton collection … Pharrell’s collection is made from their blood,” the protester shouted to the audience. “Pharrell stop torturing animals! Ostriches are being hung upside down, electrocuted with their necks slit.”   PETA is petitioning Louis Vuitton to stop abusing animals and using their bodily materials for the purpose of fashion creation.  During the protest, Pharrell made a pause during his speech and outright...

Nikocado Avocado Woke up 250lbs Lighter! Vegan Again?!

The Mukbang king, Nikocado Avocado, broke his 7 month silence after uploading a video to his channel last night.   He first appeared in the video wearing a big Panda head mask.  Beyond that gigantic panda mask, there was something noticeably different about Nick!   There was a super thin body under the mask!  Could this be a clone of Nikocado?  Is this really the same person who would down several cheeseburgers, nuggets, stuffed tacos and huge plates of noodles in one sitting?  Nikocado is the self proclaimed mukbang king of the internet and with that title came loads of weight gain.
