The Princess of Wales brings Awareness to Holistic Healthcare Upon Completion of Three Peaks Challenge

The Princess of Wales completed the Three Peaks challenge over the weekend.  The challenge involves a blend of driving and trekking through three of the highest mountain peaks in England, Scotland and Wales--Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa. The challenge areas cover 23 miles of walking distance along with a 462 mile drive between each peak.   The challenge is open to the public and many aim to walk to the summit of the peaks within 24 hours.  However, the trek is so grueling and extensive that only 40% of the individuals attempting the challenge are able to complete it within this timeframe.  It is recommended that individuals desiring to complete the Three Peaks Challenge engage in strength training over a period of eight to twelve weeks. Green Festival Expo 2016 Review: In Harmony Naturals

In Harmony Naturals

I was happy to find a few cosmetic companies at Green Festival, NYC.  The next table that I stopped at was In Harmony, LLC.  They carry mineral makeup and skin care products.  The woman behind the table matched me to a foundation and I was surprised by how alluring it looked on my skin.  This foundation is definitely buildable in  light-medium coverage.  I have used it as a finishing powder for counteracting the shine from my liquid foundation.  When you open the foundation, you’ll see the holes that allow for the minerals to come out.  Using your mineral makeup brush, you just shake the product slightly and sweep your brush against the opening and apply it to your face.  It offers a nice, matte finish. The price was $35. The pecan shade is a little darker than what I expected after doing a full face.  I’d recommend In Harmony design a shade between pecan and walnut.

The other product that I purchased from In Harmony Naturals is a lavender body butter.  It claims to replenish cracked and dry skin.  I’ve been using it since I purchased and I’m happy to report that it does just that!  It is very moisturizing to the skin as well as being calming and soothing.  It has really great ingredients to ease effects associated with conditions like eczema.  Some of the ingredients are aloe leaf juice, lavender distillate, mango seed butter, shea butter, and evening primrose oil! It’s a great butter, however it is a bit pricy at $35 for 4 oz.

In Harmony Naturals products are toxin free, paraben free and utilize no synthetic fragrances or dyes.
