Remembering Arts Champion and Environmental Trailblazer, Robert Redford

Robert Redford passed away on the 17th day of September 2025 in his beloved home of Sundance, Utah. Redford was everyone’s favorite actor’s favorite actor.  He was a fixture in the world of Hollywood and an Academy Award winning actor and director whose work spanned many decades.  He has starred in notable films such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), The Great Gatsby (1974), The Sting (1974), Out of Africa (1985),  Indecent Proposal (1993), Avengers: Endgame (2019) as well as Broadway shows such as  Sunday in New York (1963) and  Barefoot in the Park (1963). While driving through Provo Canyon on a motorbike, Redford took in the scenery and instantly knew that he wanted to make a home there.  Always an avid lover of nature, Robert was mesmerized by the landscapes of Utah and sought to purchase more than 5,000 acres of land in Sundance while keeping the goals of preservation and conservation in mind. It was an absolute delight to be accomodated in Lake Buena Vista Resort’s ‘Barbados’ three bedroom – two bath suite, sized at over 1,250 sq. ft. The luxury suite was gorgeous and even had a private dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen! This suite is perfect for groups or families! The suite featured granite countertops, a master bedroom with an oversized jetted tub, and an outside private balcony decked out with a table and chairs.









The hotel grounds were well manicured and immaculately clean. Depending on the building that you stay in, you’ll pass through the lush, green, picturesque outdoor area in order to make your way to the giant sized pool. You’ll be reminded of pirates and tropical delightfulness when you see the immense pirate ship sitting on top of the pool. It’s truly more than a sight to see!





One of the best parts about staying at Lake Buena Vista’s Resort Village and Spa is (you guessed it)---THE SPA! Reflections Spa Salon is located in Building 4 on the sixth floor. The founder really had health and wellness in mind when they designed this resort hotel. When I stepped out of the elevator to enter Reflections Spa, I was offered the entire spa experience.

The Reflections Spa Salon environment had everything that one would need in a spa—tranquility, stillness and serenity. They offer a range of treatments and I was happy to learn that natural skincare products and brands are utilized. The aesthetician who worked on me was really knowledgeable and offered great advice tailored for my skin. This review wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t mention their sugar scrub. WARNING: It is just D-I-V-I-N-E and it’ll leave your skin extremely soft and moisturized.





Oh, and for any shopping lovers out there, factory outlet stores are literally just a few steps away from the resort.

If you desire a real green, relaxing escape when traveling to the Orlando area, booking this resort hotel would be an excellent idea and choice! You’ll be glad that you did!

PETA Protester Confronts Pharrell Williams During Film Premiere

A protester from the organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), disrupted a speech being given by Pharrell Williams at a Biopic Premiere in Toronto.  She rushed the stage with a white sign in her hand that read:  Pharrell: Stop Supporting Killing Animals for Fashion.  Pharrell was in Toronto to support his LEGO biopic entitled, Piece by Piece.   The protester directed a number of statements towards Pharrell and the audience concerning his role as men's creative director at Louis Vuitton.   "Your Louis Vuitton collection … Pharrell’s collection is made from their blood,” the protester shouted to the audience. “Pharrell stop torturing animals! Ostriches are being hung upside down, electrocuted with their necks slit.”   PETA is petitioning Louis Vuitton to stop abusing animals and using their bodily materials for the purpose of fashion creation.  During the protest, Pharrell made a pause during his speech and outright...

Nikocado Avocado Woke up 250lbs Lighter! Vegan Again?!

The Mukbang king, Nikocado Avocado, broke his 7 month silence after uploading a video to his channel last night.   He first appeared in the video wearing a big Panda head mask.  Beyond that gigantic panda mask, there was something noticeably different about Nick!   There was a super thin body under the mask!  Could this be a clone of Nikocado?  Is this really the same person who would down several cheeseburgers, nuggets, stuffed tacos and huge plates of noodles in one sitting?  Nikocado is the self proclaimed mukbang king of the internet and with that title came loads of weight gain.
