The Princess of Wales completed the Three Peaks challenge over the weekend.  The challenge involves a blend of driving and trekking through three of the highest mountain peaks in England, Scotland and Wales--Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa. The challenge areas cover 23 miles of walking distance along with a 462 mile drive between each peak.   The challenge is open to the public and many aim to walk to the summit of the peaks within 24 hours.  However, the trek is so grueling and extensive that only 40% of the individuals attempting the challenge are able to complete it within this timeframe.  It is recommended that individuals desiring to complete the Three Peaks Challenge engage in strength training over a period of eight to twelve weeks. If you're going to LIVE it then KNOW ALL about it: Gluten Free Life

The biggest faux pas that anyone can have is to be completely misinformed about a lived lifestyle when grilled about what it actually entails. People should really stop jumping on diet & lifestyle bandwagons because it makes those who actually live and know the life look bad.
Jimmy Kimmel, who is obviously not very knowledgeable about eating gluten free himself, decided to take his cameras out on the road to find out if those who claimed to be gluten free really knew what gluten is.
If Mr. Kimmel knew that he could still enjoy pizza---gluten free pizza that is, he probably wouldn't be so critical of the diet.
An issue so very serious in nature should not be the bullseye of someone's silly, comical story lines.
There are individuals living and eating gluten free due to various medical and health conditions. Some people have wheat allergies and some are just unable to tolerate gluten in their bodies.
Still, it was interesting to see a few of these people who claimed to be gluten free but did not have any real clue about what gluten is.
Just because a diet may be the latest fad in your neck of the woods or the most current diet that some famous TV doctor is promoting, does not mean that you should automatically hop on it! Take some time to find out about the diet and get connected to ordinary, every day, people who are gurus of the diet.
If you're gonna live it, you've got to at least know what it's like to live it.
You've also got to know all the facts about the diet or lifestyle. We're one hundred percent sure that the people caught on Kimmel cam had to be irked to the max that they were caught not knowing the facts about their diet.
Word to the wise: If you're going to LIVE it, then KNOW ALL about it!
